VPAC Launches New Website

VPAC launches new website to support users and showcase the innovative research being conducted using VPAC’s HPC Facilities and Services.

The new and improved VPAC Website is designed to build strong eResearch communities and collaborations around Victoria and Australia by ensuring researchers are fully supported.

Our new HPC User Community section provides our HPC Users with all the information and tools they need to utilise VPAC’s resources to their full potential and maximise the benefits they receive from our facilities and services. Within our HPC User Community section, you can apply for an account on our facility, learn how to use a cluster, check your account status, access our help desk, review our tutorials and learn all about the Grid Computing initiative in Australia.

An important focus of the new VPAC website is to showcase the work VPAC and our Members, Clients and Collaborators are involved in. The website acts as a forum for communication between our Users, Academic and Commercial R&D Organisations, Federal and State Government and Industry and so is a perfect medium for showcasing the innovative work our users are involved in. Case Studies demonstrating this work can be found under each specific expertise area, for instance, Health or Engineering. For the full repository of VPAC Case Studies, visit the Media section of the website. Here you will also find our latest news articles and newsletters.

If you are a VPAC User or Collaborator and would like to speak to VPAC with regards to showcasing your project as a Case Study on the VPAC website, please contact the Media Office at media@vpac.org with a short summary of your project, including the key collaborators where relevant.
