VPAC GPU Computing Workshop - 28th July

Graphical Processing Units (GPUs) are highly parallelised processors which, when used heterogeneously with a CPU, can provide advanced computing applications with speed ups of up to 100x.

The Victorian Partnership for Advanced Computing is inviting members and industry to attend a GPU computing workshop co-hosted by Swinburne University of Technology with sponsorship from Xenon Systems on the 28th July, 2010.

Attendees will be provided with demonstrations and talks from industry developers NVIDIA and local researchers who hold first hand experience in using GPU technologies.
