This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant to take control over the accounting function and play a pivotal role in leading the company towards financial success.

VPAC is a leading, independent Advanced Computing Research and Development service provider whose mission is to provide independent expert services, training and support to VPAC Members, Industry and other organisations.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will encompass a broad range of Management and Financial Accounting activities across accounts payable & receivable, payroll, budgets preparation, variance reporting, lodgement of BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, preparation of year end statutory accounts, board reporting and management reporting for various business units.

The successful candidate must possess a tertiary qualification and be someone who has commenced or wants to commence their CA/CPA. Substantial experience in a broad range of finance and accounting disciplines is required, ideally within growing entrepreneurial organisations. Candidates will need to demonstrate comparable experience.

Knowledge of accounting package is must.
