APAN26 Sustainable Networking Conference

APAN26 Sustainable Networking conference 4-8 August 2008, Queenstown, New Zealand in conjunction with the University of Canterbury’s High Performance Research Symposium.

Research and Education Advanced Network of New Zealand Ltd (REANNZ) is convening APAN26 Sustainable Networking in Queenstown, New Zealand in August this year. This meeting is a unique opportunity for the Australasian research and education sectors to meet with delegates from Asia Pacific Advanced Networks (APAN).

APAN26 is New Zealand’s premier digital event for 2008 and will showcase how advanced networks and applications are accelerating research and collaboration in the Asia Pacific region and are contributing towards environmental, regional and operational sustainability.

International experts will present on:

  • Advanced network applications and middleware for medical, e-Science, and e-Culture, natural resource, and agricultural research
  • network technology, engineering and security
  • role of networks in mitigating the impact of global warming
