VPAC GPU Computing Workshop - 28th July

Graphical Processing Units (GPUs) are highly parallelised processors which, when used heterogeneously with a CPU, can provide advanced computing applications with speed ups of up to 100x.

The Victorian Partnership for Advanced Computing is inviting members and industry to attend a GPU computing workshop co-hosted by Swinburne University of Technology [6] with sponsorship from Xenon Systems [7] on the 28th July, 2010.

Attendees will be provided with demonstrations and talks from industry developers NVIDIA [8] and local researchers who hold first hand experience in using GPU technologies.
