On the week of 11-15 June this year, the Australian Trade Commission hosted the “Australian Auto Week” in Thailand. Gathering of 17 leading Australian companies (listed below), the event’s aim was to showcase the automotive suppliers’ capabilities, promoting partnerships and investment opportunities in Thailand.
Australian Companies presented their high level of capabilities in design and development of components for vehicles. However, through partnership with Thai companies with access to mass markets, this will enable companies to cooperate and compete together for greater market share.
VPAC’s participation, aimed to offer innovative services as an experienced provider of virtual engineering capabilities. VPAC’s qualified capabilities will improve productivity, design and quality in the vehicle manufacturing industry.
VPAC´s Thomas Dittmar delivered a keynote presentation at the opening of Automotive Technology seminar in Bangkok, to introduce the current state of the art in virtual engineering technology to the Thai automotive industry. The mission also included visits to factories in Thailand of automotive suppliers located in the Eastern Seaboard.Australian Auto Week participants
