David graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering (1st class Honours) from the University of Melbourne in 2006, he started as an intern at VPAC at the end of 2006. David worked on a health informatics project, ACCORD that is used at numerous hospitals and clinical institutions for conducting research on cancer data. The aim of the software is to provide data for investigating disease patterns in patient demographics. With the internship ending in early 2007, David continued his stay at VPAC as a software developer and is now working on a wide variety of health informatics initiatives such as GRHANITE, SHIINe and continuing development on ACCORD.
