Lachlan Hurst joined VPAC late 2002 as part of the summer internship program to work on various structural analysis problems. Lachlan is currently undertaking his final year of a B.Eng- Mechanical Engineering/ B.Sci- Computer Science double degree at RMIT. Previously Lachlan was involved in a yearlong Industry Based Learning position with General Motors Holden where he was employed in the Vehicle Synthesis Analysis and Simulation (VSAS) - Crash and Restraints department
