Paul has more than 20 years Software/Hardware Experience in advanced computer technologies involving complex distributed real-time systems. This experience is across a broad range of industrial areas in Research; Defence; Telecommunications; Commercial Software; Product Development. His roles span all of the development lifecycle in Research; Development; Infrastructure Management; Embedded Development Tools Support; Systems/Software Integration; Software Design; Production + Test; Quality Assurance; Equipment Installation and Maintenance. Paul has worked for RMIT, Xtralis, IBM, Rational Software, Boeing, Alcatel, STC UK and Telecom NZ. Paul's passion is to improve productivity and usability of software and systems in R&D environments. In this area he has a special interest in software/system visualisation and modelling and has completed a PhD in 3D systems visualisation (RMIT) and a Masters of Internetworking (UTS).
