Thomas Dittmar has worked in both roles as a Project Engineer and a CAD Design Engineer with a proven record of achievement within the non-automotive and automotive industry particularly for General Motors / OPEL / HOLDEN. Thomas has acquired a broad knowledge within Laser-, Micro mechanic-, Micro Electronic- and optic/Optical fiber technologies as well as knowledge of multiple CAD systems including Unigraphics, CATIA and AutoCAD combined with experiences in Class A & B surfacing and extensive experience with plastic injection moulding and metal pressing technologies. He has joined VPAC - Centre for Computational Prototyping (CfCP) to develop computational engineering methodology in the area of Computer Aided Engineering.
