Software

VPAC is committed to providing the software that best serves our user community. We provide a wide range of software installed on the VPAC Clusters, including software applications for:

  • Computational Chemistry
  • Geophysics
  • CFD & Engineering
  • Climate Modelling & Earth Systems
  • Bioinformatics
  • Maths Libraries
  • Statistics and Mathematics Environments

These software applications are available to researchers at Member Universities with an approved VPAC HPC User Account.

You can see a list of most software installed on a particular supercomputer at VPAC by typing "module avail [enter]" from the command prompt. A brief description of this software is also available.

A detailed list of some of the software available on VPAC's supercomputers is published at the National Computational Infrastructure (NCI) National Facility.

If you require software that is not currently installed on the VPAC Facility, you can place a request with the Systems Administration Group to consider acquiring the software or making it available on the system. Email your request to help@vpac.org.
