Staff and students employed or enrolled at any of VPAC’s Member Universities may gain access to VPAC’s High Performance Computing Facilities at no additional cost, subject to approval by their University’s Operations Committee Member.

Access may also be provided to Industry, however, is subject to an appropriate arrangement with VPAC. Interested persons should contact help@vpac.org.

As a Member of VPAC, each University has a pre-determined share of VPAC’s High Performance Computing capacity. Each University permits their share to be used by researchers and students conducting approved research consistent with the University's policies.

A staff or student who wishes to apply for an account will require a personal account and must be associated with a University approved Project. All Projects are approved by the respective University’s Operations Committee Member.

Upon approval, authority is provided to the nominated Project Leader to authorise personal accounts associated with the Project.

To gain access:

• All users of VPAC’s High Performance Computing Facility must agree to the VPAC Acceptable Use Policy.
• If you already have a VPAC Account, login to view and edit your account details.
• If you don't have a VPAC Account:

  - To join an existing project, fill in the Account Form
  - If you cannot become part of an existing Project, fill in the Project Form

A personal account is required for each user wishing to access VPAC’s High Performance Computing Facility. You will be required to enter project identification details to link your account to the approved Project.
